A 15 year veteran coach at the D1 JUCO level Zak has dedicated more than 35 years of his life to the sport of baseball. Responsible for player developement at Alvin College for the last 15 years, Zak has helped hundreds of player move on to the next level. He has also developed several players at the pro level playing as high as the MLB.
Zak was a three year letterman at Ball High School from 92’ to 95’ as well as two years at Eastfield College in Dallas TX. His knowledge of kinesiology has allowed him to become one of the top hitting instructors in the Houston area.
As a baseball coach at Alvin College in Texas since 2000, Jason Schreiber has sent more than one hundred players to the Division I level and twenty into the pros with two of those making MLB rosters.
Schreiber holds a bachelor’s degree in sports administration from the University of Houston and a master’s degree in fitness and human performance from the University of Houston at Clear Lake.
As a player before his coaching career, Schreiber was named Houston high school player of the year at Bellaire High School in 1993. His college career included one season at the University of Kansas, one season at San Jacinto Junior College and two seasons for the University of Houston where he was named to the all-Southwest Conference baseball team in 1996.
